How to Install and use Webex mobile app
Step 1:
Search Webex on the App Store or Google Play store and install Webex then open it.

Step 2:
Sign into Webex using email address and password.


Note: If it says “user ID + password is incorrect”, go to the end of this document and then come back to Step 3.
Step 3:
Once you’ve signed in, you can now see your most recent calls and your phone contacts. You can call someone from your Webex account by selecting the phone (+) button in the bottom right and selecting “Dial pad”


How to receive calls at specified hours of the day
- Select the circle icon on the top left of the app to show more options.
- Select Availability
- Select ‘Manage quiet hours’
- Select ‘Quiet hours schedule’ > Custom > Save


Now you can set specified ‘Quiet hours’ for each day, during which you won’t receive any calls to your mobile OR your desk phone.

Additional app info
- Once you log into your account on the Webex app, any calls that go to your desk phone will also go to your mobile phone, assuming you are logged into the app and your mobile phone is not fully powered off.
- Webex will import your contacts from your desk phone, and you can also make new contacts in the app.
- You can also dial out from the Webex app. When you are on a Webex call, press the 3 dots for more options which includes the option to Hold or Transfer to another agent.
- If you want to stop calls coming through to your mobile AND your desk phone, you can select your profile on the top left of the app > select 'Availability' > select 'Do not disturb' > here you can choose how long you would like to mute your call notifications for and also rejecting incoming calls.
- Also, if someone rings your desk phone and you previously logged into the Webex app but only closed it, you will still receive the call on your mobile until you sign out of the app. You can sign out by selecting your profile in the top left of the app, scrolling down to select 'Sign out'. Then you will stop receiving calls to your mobile until you sign back in.
- If you'd like to stay signed into the app but not receive calls outside work hours, you can go to the top left of the app > select 'Availability' > select 'Quiet hours' > here you can select what hours you'd like to mute notifications and reject incoming calls.
If user ID + password says incorrect when logging in
- Enter your email address into email address box
- Above the password box, select 'Change user' which is underlined.

Then it should say 'Enter your username'

- Remove your email from the top box and paste in your username
- Enter your password in the bottom box and sign in
