Removing an Email address from an iPhone

Step 1:
Open the settings app
Step 2:
Search for the mail app
Step 3:
Click on “Mail Accounts”
Step 4:
Now you will be able to see all your connected mailboxes. Press on the mailbox you would like to remove.
Step 5:
After clicking on the account, you will see the “Delete Account” button at the bottom of the screen. Depending on your device you will have to scroll down. After clicking this button your email will be removed from your device.
You can then add the mailbox again to resolve possible sync issues.
Note:
If you have multiple mailboxes and you are unsure which is which you can press “Account Settings”
